In 1988 I started my language institute as a component of Studio PI. The other component: yoga/gymnastics/aerobics lessons are given by the other owner.
I studied Dutch linguistics and literature at the University of Amsterdam. With the Dutch "secondary school teaching qualification" I taught Dutch at junior-high school and high school for twenty years.
The Japanese characters in our logo express my speciality in teaching to Japanese people. However, I also teach many other nationalities.
Students also benefit from my large collection of information and books on Dutch life and culture. I enjoy showing my students places of interest in Amsterdam and elsewhere.
